Luca Buzzi Reschini

Luca Buzzi Reschini was born in Varese in 1995. He graduated in Film from the Scuola Holden in Turin in 2018, winning the Phoebe Award for Best Project. 

He made his debut as a director and screenwriter with the short film Fame in 2019, which won a special mention at the Ermanno Olmi Award. In 2021 he co-directed the self-produced feature film Islanda. He participated in the Biennale College Cinema in 2021 with the project The Essential, produced by Valentina Noya. In the following years he worked with directors such as Felix Van Groeningen on The Eight Mountains, Mike White on The White Lotus, Joe Wright on M: Son of the Century, and Wes Anderson in the post-production of the film The Phoenician Scheme

In 2024 he wrote and directed the short film Oro e Contanti, produced by AMNC and Notte Americana, which is currently in post-production.

Hleb Papou

Hleb Papou (1991), born in Belarus, has been living in Italy since 2003. He graduated in Directing from the Centro Sperimentale in 2017 with his graduation short film Il Legionario, which was presented at the Venice Film Festival’s International Critics’ Week in 2017 and included in the Future Frames program at the 2018 Karlovy Vary Film Festival. In 2021 his debut feature film Il Legionario (based on the short of the same name) premiered at the Locarno Film Festival in the Cineasti del presente section, where Hleb won the award for Best Emerging Director. Produced by Clemart srl, the film was released in Italian cinemas in February 2022 and was nominated for the Nastro d’Argento for Best Debut. In 2024 Hleb was selected for Berlinale Talents and made two short films including Fellini, presented in competition at Alice nella Città 2024 in Rome, and Lettera di un sicario, a found footage short film produced by Aamod. Meanwhile Hleb is working on his second feature film.

Elia Bei

Elia Bei was born in Fermo in 1990. He graduated as an actor in 2012 from the European Academy of Dramatic Arts with a BA in Performing Arts. In 2015 he wrote, directed, and produced his first short film, Décadence, which was selected for various Italian and international festivals. In 2017 he attended the directing course led by Piero Messina at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and, in the same year, together with Alessandro Lui, began developing two new short films: Il ladro di spezie and Vittoria per tutti. The first won the SIAE – S’illumina grant for international distribution in 2018; the second won the Rai Cinema Channel Award for Best Short Film at the Rome Independent Film Festival (RIFF) in 2019. Since 2020 he has been working on his first documentary, Un angelo in bilico, about the life of the renowned Marche artist Osvaldo Licini.

Giacomo Scoditti

Giacomo Scoditti, born in Bari in 1994. After graduating from high school he earned a degree in law focusing on tax credit and film financing. He began working as a videomaker in the communication market and then moved into music videos. He studied at the Luchino Visconti Civic School in Milan and later attended a directing master’s program at the CSC in Milan. He currently works as an assistant director. In recent years he has begun his journey as a filmmaker. Son is his second short film, produced by Nichel Film and distributed by EarlyBird.
