Dunes Only Know
SYNOPSIS
An aging man drifts through the bushes next to a nudist beach in search of a cruising encounter. A surveillance drone interrupts the ritual. Momentarily distracted by nudity, it is blind to the two people it’s actually searching for. There is a silent exchange between the cruiser and two migrants in hiding. A short distance away, the coastal police unit is in a cramped car nearby, disillusioned and bored out of their minds, when utter chaos erupts onto the beach in an absurd act of salvation.
